Welcome,
It has been an honour and privilege to represent the electorate of Braddon during 2004-2007.
Being involved as the local member in such exciting initiatives as improving the delivery of local health services, support for our environment and local water sustainability, funding for key education and skills projects such as Investing in our Schools, Australian Technical College - Burnie, Rural Medical Clinic, and growth of University of Tasmania, partaking in the Fairdinkum Food Campaign as well as devising local employment and commercial projects such as Produce of Heaven and Manufacturing North West was extremely rewarding.
Personally, I was pleased to have also supported vital projects for our local youth and especially those at risk, those with mental illness and disabilities as well as delivering Emerton Park funding and respite services for our aged. I will continue to support these areas through community involvement during 2008.
My key priorities for 2008 will be completing my Commerce/Law Degree and moving back into the commercial world.
This updated site provides interesting information on many of the initiates during my time as the local representative and those I will be involved with during 2008.
My new contact details are also available on the site.
The information will be regularly updated, so please feel free to visit often.
Regards,

Mark Baker
